Inspired by a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign that my friend created. Patches is a tiny person of about 5-6 inches. In this world, tiny people live inside small hiding places in the homes of regular people, and they scavenge what the people of the house might not notice.

Patches is both a scavenger and a seamstress who turns unused fabrics into clothes and trades them at the underground tiny black-market. Her design is composed of small objects like a watch, a sales tag, a shoe lace, a measuring tape, and many other small objects.

In order to create this character, I sculpted her in ZBrush, retopologized in Maya, then did hand-painted textures in SubtancePainter, to then bring it back to Maya in order to rig, and finally brought it to Houdini to do a Vellum cloth simulation.  Since this was my thesis project, I wanted this to be a culmination of all that I have learned while at NJIT.
